Soft Flat Braid Loping Hackamore Attachment
Our soft 5-strand loping hackamore has a flat braided bosal made from 1/4" yacht rope and comes with a fiador (throatlatch) in the color of your choice to attach to your own headstall. Choose up to 5 different colors for the bosal. Leather headstall not included.
Choose your style of reins if desired or use your own. The 9/16" split reins are the thicker style reins and are 7'. The 9/16" mecate reins offer a loop style rein as well as a lead to be attached to your saddle or use for groundwork and are 22' in total length. The 3/8" split reins are the thinner style reins and are 7'. The 3/8" mecate reins offer a loop style rein as well as a lead to be attached to your saddle or use for ground work and are 22' in total length. Loop reins are about 9'.
This is just the bosal and throatlatch to be attached to your own headstall.
Ifyou do not choose to add reins, our bosals are made for loop or split reins to be tied on. If you plan on using mecate reins, please add that in the special requests box so we can make the bosal larger to accommodate mecate reins.
